Yaskawa Motor to IEC Hybrid Brake
The input side of this brake connects to a Yaskawa SGMVV-2BD3B6N servo motor and the output side bolts directly to a IEC 160-B5 flange gearbox.
View Detail SheetWhen designing a motion control solution, servo brakes are components that often require special care to ensure success. Shaft connection or housing requirements can limit a standard servo brake’s effective operation or prohibit its installation.
Conditions like extreme weather exposure and heavy-duty loads exacerbate motion control challenges and can make finding a servo brake with the correct connection geometries even more difficult.
At Mach III, we modify our standard servo brakes with alternative loading capabilities or improved environmental protection to deliver the best motion control solution for your needs. And with our design and engineering expertise, we can accommodate an infinite number of housing and shaft connections — enabling our customers to integrate a wide variety of servo motor and gearbox arrangements regardless of type, size or supplier.
Here are some of the modifications we can apply to our servo brakes:
Implementing a custom servo brake in your motion system can prevent the pitfalls that come with forcing a standard component to perform beyond its manufactured specifications. Using our extensive technical expertise, we can modify our standard offering — or design completely new servo-brake solutions — for precise, high-performance applications.
