Pilot Mounted Component to Shaft Drive Arrangement


These clutches, combination clutch-brakes and mechanical torque limiters transmit torque from a timing belt pulley, v-belt pulley or sprocket which is mounted on the pilot of the unit to a shaft. They can also be used in reverse arrangement, transmitting torque from a rotating shaft to a pilot mounted component.

This group of products is through bored for placement in any position on the shaft. They are fixed to the shaft with set screws and a customer supplied key. The required sprocket or pulley can be supplied by Mach III and installed on the pilot. Clutches and Clutch-Brakes require an anti-rotation arm to prevent rotation of the air housing.
