Spring Set Brakes

Mach III spring set friction brakes are designed for use in applications where the brake is applied after the system comes to a rest. These brakes are spring engaged and remain set in the absence of air pressure. Spring set brakes selected for holding/failsafe applications may not be appropriate for cycling duties. If your application requires one brake to both cycle and provide holding, please consult our engineering department.
